Sometimes a bit of reset is needed. To do this, charge the light fully (this should be a 12hr charges). Then, on its maximum setting, let it run until it goes out. Finally, charge the unit again using a wall USB charger (like an ipad charger for example), overnight. The next morning, the battery should be good as new.
