Under any circumstances DO NOT attempt to connect or disconnect Scout via your phones Bluetooth device list to resolve the connection. This will break the encrypted connection to the Scout, requiring a factory reset.
In the instance that the Knog app is not responding and you cannot arm or disarm the alarm, try force close the Knog app by bringing the app to center screen, then swipe up to close it. Reopening the Knog app should re-establish the connection with your Scout, resuming full functionality.
If this doesn’t solve the issue, try restarting the Scout by connecting it to a charger via the USB-C port.
If you have altered your Scouts Bluetooth settings manually and tried to disconnect or connect directly via your phones Bluetooth settings, you will need to perform a factory reset. Do not attempt a factory reset if your Scout is armed - reach out to our customer service team for further assistance in this scenario.
