Modemaker & StVZO certified lights

If your light was purchased from a retailer in Germany, it will be one of our StVZO compliant lights. StVZO lights are not compatible with Modemaker and cannot be updated, which is a requirement by German StVZO standards.

When using Modemaker 1.0:

StVZO or non compatible lights may give you an error, incorrect product ID or simply not register that they are connected at all. Do not attempt to program lights that are not compatible if you are able to connect as an incorrect product as you will risk not being able to undo this. In most cases, attempts to program StVZO lights will result in an internal error and the light will no longer work as it should.

When using Modemaker 2.0:

When attempting to connect an StVZO light to Modemaker 2.0, you may be able to register certain products from our current range, however no light customization will be possible. Registration is purely for potential product firmware updates should the be required in the future.
