What is eye saver and how do I program it?

When mounted horizontally Cobber front lights can cause a slight distraction for the rider due to the lights beam  angle. However, this issue can easily be rectified via the use of "eye saver" modes.

Eye saver modes will disable 1/3 of the light beam to reduce area and angle of the light’s LED in order to optimize the light for horizontal use.

How to enable eye saver mode for Cobber Mini front lights

Double press the lights button to toggle between standard modes and eye saver mode. 

How to enable eye saver mode for Cobber Reflex front lights

You can enable eye saver mode for your Cobber Reflex front light via the Modemaker 2.0 web app. Simply select the mode(s) you would like to update and toggle the eye saver mode to "enable" and then hit the "apply" button to save your preference. Please note that eye saver is not available for all modes.

How to enable eye saver mode for Big Cobber, Mid Cobber & Lil' Cobber front lights

For Big Cobber, Mid Cobber & Lil' Cobber front lights, eye saver is enabled via the Modemaker 1.0 desktop app for Windows and Mac computers.

In order to enable these modes, the light must be programmed using Modemaker with modes starting with ‘es’ (as in the image below). You will need to delete default modes in order to program eye saver modes as the light has a finite amount of memory.
