Sometimes new lights can be a little tough to disconnect, as they come already connected to the PWR bank off the factory floor to ensure the waterproof seal.
As a preventative, please ensure to use a wiggle back and forth motion to remove the light head and feel free to place a little olive oil or a similar non corrosive lubricant around the join of your light.
