If you have purchased a Blinder 600, 900 or 1300, these lights are shipped in a "demonstration mode" in order to preserve the battery. This mode will only allow the light to turn on for a short period of time, and you will not be able to cycle through the different light modes.
If you follow the instructions in the quick start guide for your light and connect it to a charger (it is also best to allow the light to fully charge before use), this will disable demo mode and your light will be fully functional.
