Sometimes, these lights need a bit of a reset.
First, charge the light fully (this should be a 12hr charge). Then, on its maximum setting, let it run until it goes out. Finally, charge the unit again using a wall USB charger (like an iPad charger) - overnight. The next morning, the firmware should have reset itself, and you should have a healthy light again.
