This is the RSSI signal indicator and shows the strength for the Bluetooth connection. When the Scout is closer to the phone, there will be more bars displayed in bold. The Bluetooth signal strength can vary based on a number of external factors. For example, walls and objects, or orientation of the phone and/or device.
