I removed my Scout from my phones Bluetooth device list and now I have lost connection and function of my Scout

The Knog Scout is a security device. Removing the Scout from the Bluetooth device list breaks the bonded/encrypted connection between the phone and the Scout. To reinstate the bonded/encrypted connection you will need to perform a factory reset. The factory reset will break any connection the device has with the FindMy network too.

If you have removed Scout from your bluetooth device list while armed, a factory reset will not be possible. Please reach out to us via the contact form here.
